Hello! My name is Yael Canaan and I’m a UX Designer at Amazon Web Services.
I am a UX Designer at Amazon Web Services. In spring 2023 I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor in Human-Computer Interaction along with a Bachelor in Architecture, and a minor in Intelligent Environments.
Within the HCI Institute, I worked primarily with Graduate students to complete projects and research. Within the Architecture department, I have gained both technical and design skills in: systems-thinking, design for delivery philosophy, and cross-functional teamwork.
Outside of academics, I devoted a lot of time to things that excite me. I am a founding member and was a two term president of Achayot Shel Carnegie Mellon, a Hillel student leader, and secretary of Carnegie Mellon’s NOMAS chapter.
